Since the age of 3, Peter Quill has been fascinated by advertising and, as family and friends will attest, he has been destined for a career in marketing ever since. For over 20 years he’s honed that fascination into a passion and now, as President and Chief Strategy Officer of Motor Creative Marketing, Peter oversees creative strategy, account planning and service as well as operations.

Prior to co-founding Motor in 2002, Peter was vice president of strategic marketing at Western Digital Corporation in Irvine, California. During his tenure he directed all new product and service development in addition to managing the company’s global branding strategy including creative direction, product positioning, media strategy and budgeting, database marketing and promotional campaign development. Earlier, Peter served as Director of Marketing for the AmeriQuest subsidiary of Computer 2000 (now Tech Data), one of the world’s largest wholesale distributors of computer products, where he developed marketing strategies to solidify distributor brand and recognition, increase sales and strengthen manufacturer partnerships.

As Marketing Director at Guess?, Peter’s work directly attributed to the Guess Athletic brand becoming the fastest growing athletic footwear and apparel company in the history of the industry in just 24 months. He created and implemented all marketing strategies for the brand including product development, advertising, public relations, promotions, professional sponsorships and integrated trade show marketing.

Earlier, Peter served as Managing Director of Conaway, an Orange, California based advertising agency, and was Sales and Marketing Manager for Pace Sportswear in Huntington Beach, California.

Peter received a B.A. Degree in English from Colby College, Waterville, Maine. He has dual citizenship in the United States and the Republic of Ireland. He is an avid boater, skier, golfer, husband and father to his two children.
