Miracles for Kids Launches New Summer Program:
Miracles Surf & Paddle Summer Camp 2011

This summer, Miracles for Kids is proud to launch our latest program, Miracles Surf & Paddle Summer Camp. The purpose of this program is for children with life-threatening illnesses to experience surfing and stand up paddle surf activities under the guidance of expert instructors. We aim to create a positive learning experience as well as a long-lasting impact on the children by providing a fun-filled and cost-free summer camp program with lunch and transportation provided.

Miracles Surf & Paddle Summer Camp offers a summer day camp for our CHOC Children’s outpatients (ages 7-21, pending doctor's release). Activities include: surfing and stand up paddle board, beach games, and an educational tour of the Ocean Institute.

Surf and SUP camps will take place in Dana Point and Huntington Beach on select Thursdays and Fridays from June 30 – August 25, 2011. Lunch and transportation to and from Dana Point - Huntington Beach and CHOC Children’s will be provided.

Registration is required. Space is limited and medically approved attendees will be chosen on a first come, first serve basis. Selected patients may participate in only one camp session including your choice of surfing or stand up paddle surf activities. To register your child for the program, please contact Miracles for Kids at 714.730.3040 or email admin@miraclesforkids.org.
