Sea Breeze Financial Services was the leading contributor to Miracles for Kids for the last several years. How did they do it? By garnering the support of their employees and clients through various models of giving. Below we provide a sample of the innovative ways Sea Breeze found to raise money for charity and unify their employees in a spirit of giving.

Auto-Deduct Program
The most successful fundraiser for Sea Breeze was the implementation of an automatic payroll deduction program, which allowed employees to contribute though their paychecks or monthly commission checks with Sea Breeze matching 25 percent of each donation. Employees were given the option of contributing throughout the year or by donating one sum at a given time. At the end of each month, Sea Breeze then compiled those monies and gave a check to Miracles for Kids.

Client Donations
Sea Breeze reached out to potential mortgage clients by introducing Miracles for Kids and by pledging to donate $300 in their name to our organization. This was an effective tool for not only advertising to potential clients, but also for setting their company apart from other companies who do not give to their community in such a generous manner.

Corporate Programs
In addition to the programs listed above, Sea Breeze instituted one-time fundraisers among their employees to raise money throughout the year. Some examples included: auctioning sports tickets or other items given to them by clients through their internal email system; reserving one parking space in the building each month for the highest bidder; creating a silent auction out of baskets and other festive items at company functions. Sea Breeze used almost every opportunity available to them to encourage their employees to become a part of their fundraising efforts.

Sea Breeze was an example of a company who takes their philanthropic duties seriously. While the items listed above showcase their efforts, they are not an exhaustive list. In fact, each year Sea Breeze found new and innovative ways to contribute to Miracles for Kids and our efforts. While Sea Breeze Financial is no longer in business, we will always be grateful for the extraordinary support their owners and staff gave to Miracles for Kids.
