The Miracles for Kids Grant Program, which has been operating exclusively at Children’s Hospital of Orange County since March 2006, provides aid to patients and their families who are in a financial crisis as a result of their child’s treatment for a life-threatening illness. The Grant Program is an application-driven program with initial screening provided by CHOC Social Services representatives. If the patient and their family fits general Grant Program guidelines, they submit an application for assistance directly to Miracles for Kids. The Grant Program is designed to minimize administrative delays and provide funds to those in need as quickly as possible.
Since the Grant Program’s launch, Miracles for Kids has provided aid to hundreds of children and families in need. We have funded items such as rent or mortgage, transportation, insurance co-payments, physician bills, funeral costs, renovation costs necessary to create “clean rooms” for children able to live at home during their treatment, and many other items.

Miracles for Kids offers three wonderful ways for individuals interested in providing personal and direct support to connect to our Grant children and their families while they are in treatment. Whether you would like to give a one-time
gift, become a monthly donor through our Ongoing Support Program, or if you would like to be matched directly with one family for an extended period of time through our Fund-a-Family Program, we provide you with the options to make a real impact on a family in desperate need of help.
All donations are 100% tax deductible, and your donation provides crucial funds to families in our community struggling to survive while supporting their critically ill child.
