Miracles for Kids & Music for a Cure Raise $40,000 at First Casino Night

  Miracles for Kids and Music for a Cure joined together on May 19th to host Hold’em for the Kids 2007, the first casino night fundraiser for either organization. The event, which was held in the Palm Garden at the Island Hotel in Newport Beach, was attended by over 200 supporters and raised $40,000.

In addition to providing guests with a night of gaming at poker, black jack, craps, and roulette tables, the event boasted a Las Vegas style buffet, live music by a Rat Pack band, a special appearance by Elvis and showgirls.

The proceeds from the benefit the two hosting organizations and the programs they support.
