Miracles for Kids and PCRF Host Western Roundup for Oncology Families

  Miracles for Kids joined the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation in hosting their 16th annual Western Roundup at Hidden Valley in Irvine on June 10th. The event was attended by over 400 people, including 70 oncology children and families as well as donors and supporters of the two organizations. Attendance at the event was free.

Events at the Roundup included bouncy houses, pony rides, petting zoo, carnival rides and games, arts and crafts, face painting, raffles and more. Attendees were also given the opportunity to participate in a dove release ceremony in memory of or in honor of an oncology child.

The 17th annual Western Roundup will be held in June 2008. Details on next year’s event will be available in January 2008.
