Stars and Stripes 2010 Event Recap
Miracles for Kids is thrilled to announce their return from the very successful 2010 Stars & Stripes Fishing, Golf & Music Festival! The Tournament, in its 14th and most profitable year, is the nation's largest and most extraordinary destination charity fundraiser.
An early report indicates that the Stars & Stripes Tournament netted more than 1.8 million dollars from this year’s event. This overwhelming and much needed figure is to be split between the four charities benefiting from the event: The Boy Scouts of Los Angeles, The Boys and Girls Club, Miracles for Kids, and the Orangewood Children’s Foundation.
“Miracles for Kids is truly honored and humbled to have been a part of such an amazing fundraiser. This year’s Stars & Stripes Tournament gave us the opportunity to raise a significant amount of funds for our Grant Recipient Program, which directly benefits critically-ill children and their families get through the day to day challenges they face. We are so thankful for this opportunity to be part of the Stars & Stripes team and hope to join them again next year,” stated Miracles for Kids President Autumn Strier.
The 15th Annual Stars & Stripes Fishing, Golf & Music Festival will be held on June 23-26, 2011. For more information on the Stars & Stripes Tournament please visit their website at:
