STARS AND STRIPES 2011 EVENT RECAP

Miracles for Kids is delighted to announce their return from the very successful XV Annual Stars & Stripes Fishing, Golf & Music Festival! The Tournament, which has chosen Miracles for Kids to be a charity recipient for the 2nd year in a row, is the nation's largest and most extraordinary destination charity fundraiser.

An early report indicates that the Stars & Stripes Tournament netted more than 2.1 million dollars from this year’s event. This overwhelming and much needed figure is to be split between the five charities benefiting from the event: The Boy Scouts of Los Angeles, The Boys and Girls Club, Miracles for Kids, Orangewood Children’s Foundation, and the San Diego Armed Forces YMCA.

“Miracles for Kids is truly thankful to be a Tournament charitable partner once again in 2011. The funds raised this year will directly benefit families with critically-ill children, allowing us to provide them with the stability they need to survive their day to day challenges. We look forward to continuing as a partner of Stars & Stripes, as they continue to make an incredible difference in the lives of children.”

The 16th Annual Stars & Stripes Fishing, Golf & Music Festival will be held on June 28-July 1, 2012. For more information on the Stars & Stripes Tournament please visit their website at:
