Miracles
for Kids operates the Molly’s Kids
Grant
Program at Children’s Hospital of Orange County
(CHOC) to provide financial assistance to
pediatric oncology patients and their families
and/or caregivers.
The Grant Program is an application-driven
program with
the goal of assisting families who are
struggling to make ends meet as a result of
their child’s illness. Applicants are screened
by their CHOC Pediatric Oncology Social Services
representative and if approved, submit an
application for assistance directly to Miracles
for Kids. There is very little red tape
associated with the program, and as are funds to
provided directly to the families, Miracles for
Kids is able to assist those in need very
quickly.
Miracles for Kids has funded needs such as first
month’s deposit on a new apartment related to a
necessary move, mortgage, rent, utilities,
insurance payments, and renovation costs
necessary to prepare a home environment for a
child when released from the hospital. We have
also provided assistance with funeral costs for
families who children who lose their battle and
have to handle unexpected costs in the face of
their loss. All applications that come to
Miracles for Kids are considered, and if a true
need is presented, Miracles for Kids works to
assist families in any way possible.
The Molly’s Kids Grant Program is a unique
program at CHOC and continues to grow with more
applications coming in each month. If you are

Kids Grant Program at CHOC or would like to find
